The existence of this website is due to one single Redditor whom I don’t even remember the pseudonym. But one sentence just struck me when I started researching how to get into web dev and how to start programming :
More building, less bikeshedding
It seems obvious right? Well, not to me and not to many other people that are trying to do something with their life. Bikeshedding is the action of spending unnecessary time on useless question. It’s spending time doing things that does not matter in order to avoid the real hard thing. It’s a common mistake that we all do and we are doing it all the time. So, as I was reading this sentence I thought : why don’t I build a website to share my writing? And then I started building. I used what I know and what was at hand. That’s why I chose WordPress because it is handy and really easy to use. It might not be the perfect approach, but I have a running website.
